This is 'the' Cover-all
cover inspired by the pattern name.
After I decided to call the patterns 'Machine Cover-alls,' a dear
friend suggested I make a cover using red-checked fabric and overalls.
I was going to do an applique of overalls on the front and back
of the cover but made a quick trip to the local thrift shop and found
a pair of overalls for $1.50, which was cheaper than buying the
hardware for the buttons and clasps. However, I couldn't find any
pre-quilted red-checked fabric so I solved that problem by making my
own. I have to say this cover fits my personality and decor much more
than the other covers.
Kathy, I thank you for your idea and for allowing me to use it!
